Welcome to GTC Gives Back

GTC Gives Back is a 4-year effort of the residents of Governors Towne Club to raise awareness and help find a cure for breast cancer. Proceeds from the event go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation – Atlanta Office, Pink Ribbon Story Foundation the GTC Gives Back Community Outreach Program and the GTC Gives Back Angel Delivery Program. The GTC Gives Back Angel Delivery Program has teamed with Kennestone Hospital to identify local breast cancer patients with financial and/or emotional challenges and hand-deliver to them whatever they need to aid in their recovery. GTC Gives Back has raised over $ 110,000 and will continue to help make a difference with the support of local volunteers, donors and sponsors.

GTC Gives back Play for Pink Tennis Tournament

This will be a 2-day tennis event featuring ladies doubles round robin play on Friday morning followed by a pink champagne lunch with special guest speakers. The mixed doubles round robin will be Friday night beginning at 6:00 PM. Saturday will begin with a ladies doubles round robin for A, B and C players. The afternoon will feature junior and men’s round robin play. There will be a demo and prize court along with a fast serve contest. The evening will conclude with a Pro Exhibition Match. Both days will feature a silent auction with many great bid items like vacation trips, tennis gear, memorabilia and goods and services from the local business community. The cost to participate is $40 for adults, $20 for juniors and $60 for ladies who want to participate both days.
